Course Description
This course provides a comprehensive exploration of multidisciplinary teams (MDTs), standardized operating procedures (SOPs), and inter-agency relationships in death investigations. Participants will examine the significance of MDTs, with a focus on roles and responsibilities in child death cases. Students will learn strategies for fostering inter-agency cooperation and overcoming barriers. Additionally, the course covers the development of collaborative SOPs, offering guidelines and best practices for streamlining processes. Through practical exercises and case studies, participants will acquire the skills needed to contribute effectively to multidisciplinary death investigations and enhance the overall investigative model.
