Children’s Advocacy Centers

A Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC) is a safe, child-focused location where a child who may have experienced abuse tells their story once to a trained interviewer, and receives relevant support, assistance, and resources from a team of professionals.

Resources for Survivors from Zero Abuse Project

SurvivorSpace

SurvivorSpace is a website and mobile app created by and for adult survivors of child sexual abuse. Featuring survivor stories, self-care resources, poetry, videos, tip sheets and more, SurvivorSpace is a welcoming, anonymous space where adult survivors will find encouragement and support on their healing journey from those who have experienced abuse and exploitation.

1in6

1in6 helps men who have had unwanted or abusive sexual experiences live healthier, happier lives, while also serving family members, friends, partners, and service providers by providing information and support resources on the web and in the community. Anonymous, online chat-based support groups are offered each weekday for adult male survivors.

Jacob Wetterling Resource Center

The Jacob Wetterling Resource Center works to end all forms of child maltreatment through education, training and prevention while connecting families of the missing and exploited in Minnesota to important resources.
