About

Crime Scene to Trial

experiential training

Zero Abuse Project is proud to offer a 3-day course designed to provide multi-disciplinary teams (MDTs) with hands-on training in responding to child maltreatment cases. The course focuses on abusive head trauma, child sexual abuse, neglect, emotional abuse, witnessing domestic violence, and animal cruelty. Working together as a team, participants process a crime scene, interview witnesses, interrogate suspects, conduct a forensic interview, apply for search warrants, and make decisions as to charges.

The course also includes workshops on essential topics, such as interrogating suspects, investigating polyvictimization, and processing a crime scene. These workshops are led by industry experts and provide participants with the latest research and best practices.

At this time, Zero Abuse Project is only able to offer this course as a fee-for-service training. This course is offered both virtually and in-person.

This course is an excellent opportunity for MDTs to enhance their skills and collaboration in responding to child maltreatment cases.
