In My Neighbor’s House: MDT Responses in Rural Communities

Course Description

Using a case study from rural Minnesota, students will learn how a small community became recognized as a state and national leader in addressing child abuse. Using recent research, students will learn options for applying these lessons to other communities.

2. Learn concrete strategies for addressing child abuse in rural communities.

3. Review a concrete protocol for responding to child abuse in small or rural communities.
